It has been the guardian of the entrance to the Rade de Brest since 1848! The Petit Minou lighthouse takes its name from the Breton language: "min" ("minou" in the plural) meaning "mouth".
26 metres high and automated in 1989, the lighthouse has a range of 19 miles (or 35 kilometres).
Now open to the curious in summer, the Petit Minou lighthouse welcomes you for a guided tour full of discoveries about the history of the place.
You will also find the GR34 hiking trail nearby to extend your outing along the coast, or go to the Minou beach for a swim in an exceptional setting.
